    This reaction expresses particular concern over the rise of violence and hatred toward Roma in Bulgaria, having in mind that Roma as citizens in EU Member state suffer great damage, loss of human dignity and represent innocent victims. The reality is that we have expansion of extreme violence, hatred and endangered fundamental rights in Bulgaria, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. If 6 out of 27 Member states have violent riots and incidents toward Roma citizens, how do they respect, protect and fulfill basic human rights and fundamental freedoms. Keep reading…

    35 youth and civil organizations, today, 16th August 2011, publicly announced their notes about the non democratic and non effective solutions from the Proposal-law for youths which is still in procedure in the assembly. The youth organizations ask from the Assembly of Republic of Macedonia and from the appropriate Commissions for European issues and for education, science and sport to take in consideration notes and analyses, to provide consultative process and a public debate to include young people in defining of legal solutions.     The public is a witness to many domestic and international initiatives that urge for improving of the condition of the Roma community, but where are the results? What kind and how much improvement can we expect with investments of 300 denars per person, with an army of unemployed persons who due to low level of education are not competitors on the labor market? Starting from current perspective and dimension We are witnesses that Roma are trying to survive confronted with constant deterioration of socio-economic condition, stereotypes, prejudices, discrimination, lack of measures to protect cultural and language identity.   • What is Cordoba Summit promising? Is European Commission accepting Roma to promote herself?

    In the light of II EU Roma Summit which will be held in Cordoba, Spain as effort for the largest European 10 millions minority. The first Summit held in 2008 promised urgent changes, integration and inclusion. NRC as participant at the Summit supported the idea for EU Roma Strategy, which was lately adopted only as Platform.
