Good start

The purpose of the “Good start” program is support of education and care in early childhood with focus on families and communities while working with institutions.
The European Union supports the implementation of the “Good start” program that aims towards development of children between 0 and 6 year olds.

Edno will be present in macedonian media space as the only medium focused on the rights of Roma people, on all marginalized groups, all communities irrespective of their nationality, religion or political orientation.
The magazine EDNO is being published since 2008 under the motto ‘one education for all’. In the period until 2010 it was being published monthly and it was financed by the Roma Educational Fund from Budapest. Keep reading…

DEBATES THROUGH MACEDONIA
According to the implementation plan of the campaign for education of Roma “The key is in our hands” during November and December we realized debates through 11 cities in Macedonia. Vaska Bajramovska Mustafa comes from a poor family. With only one pension, without scholarships, walking each day 9 kilometers to school, with modest clothes and shoes, but with strong support from her parents, Vaska graduated on the Faculty of Law in Skopje. PROPOSAL CONCLUSIONS
- The participants in the working session are asking complete implementation of the National Strategy of Education of Roma in Macedonia.
- The participants are insisting the state institutions to provide instruments for strengthening of the educational process of the Roma, especially for more bigger coverage of the students.
